Position Summary:
We are searching for a Senior Solutions Consultant ( Pre-Sales Consultant) reporting to the Director, Solutions Consulting. The Senior Solutions Consultant will facilitate company business and revenue goals by providing consistent, high quality pre-sales solution support and assistance in the France region of the Europe, The Senior Solutions Consultant will be providing input into the qualification of prospects and the creation of business strategies. The Senior Solutions Consultant will lead the technical qualification, opportunity assessment, solution design and proposal phases of the sales process.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver written solution proposals and presentations to clients including responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
- Develop clients’ business case for the recommended solution as appropriate
- Provide business process and technical leadership and expertise
- Develop and deliver written solution proposals and presentations to customers including responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs
- Analyze requirements and develop customers’ business case for the recommended solution as appropriate
- Develop and architect detailed solutions that solve business problems.
- Create and deliver demonstrations, presentations and/or prototypes which map features/benefits of the company to specific business and technical needs.
- Assist sales in getting answers to questions and resolving technical issues
- Serve as liaison between the sales and solution delivery
- Maintain technical, market and industry knowledge specifically as it relates to B2B integration with packaged applications.

Knowledge:
- Excellent customer service, oral and written communications skills
- Strong problem solving, presentation and organizational skills
- Independent, self-starter with excellent matrix management skills
- Ability to master a broad range of expertise ranging from understanding the business process to collecting and analyzing business and technical requirements
- Ability to take direction
- Demonstrate a team attitude.
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Power Point
Education and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field or equivalent years of experience
- 6 to 8 years of sales experience, especially selling technology and related professional services to regional and global enterprises
- 5 + years in software development or pre-sales with proven ability to understand and analyze prospect’s needs and identify, develop and present appropriate GXS solutions
- Experience in services model on a global basis that includes: up-front implementation, service level agreements, data center operations, on-going customer management and change management
- Experience developing and presenting clear and concise product briefings
Industry Experience:
Experience in Supply Chain management, e-business, B2B and related disciplines
Experience working in a matrix environment
Technical Ability:
Understands and appropriately applies procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized expertise.
- general understanding of File Tranfer Protocols useful – FTP/HTTP/OFTP
- general understanding of data formats useful – XML/EDI
- general understanding of data format integration to SAP
- EAI integration - useful
- Value Added Networks - useful
- Data Security – useful
Basic salary: 60 K€-75 K€ + 15K-30K bonus (+90 K€ total) + competitive benefits package
Fluent french and english
Intensive Travel: 75 %
